Dinner in the Sky Dubai is an unmatched eating experience fifty meters above the ground, hung by a crane at Skydive Dubai in Al Sufouh.  With 360-degree views of famous sites including the Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, and Dubai Marina, this unusual venue fits up to 22 guests per session.  The 90-minute event consists of a delicious three-course lunch created live by chefs from prestigious hotels including Le Méridien and The Westin.  Daily sessions run from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM and cost AED 699 to AED 799 per person depending on the time and day.  Perfect for special events, this exciting excursion provides a unique fusion of great food with amazing airborne views.

We had a New Year's Eve event booked, which started at 8.30pm. Muzannil (Hassan) was our driver and guide. He said we would need to leave the hotel early as lots of roads were closing at 4pm. We parked in Dubai Festival City Mall car park. Hassan then took us to where the boat would leave from so that we would know. He then left us to explore the mall and arranged for us to meet later so that he could take us to the boat. We had a wonderful time and when we moored Hassan was waiting for us (we were late). Hassan took us back to our hotel through gridlocked roads. He eventually dropped us off about 1.30am. He was a wonderful guide- told us interesting facts and took care of us.
