KidZania Abu Dhabi is a large indoor edutainment centre located in Yas Mall on Yas Island. Spanning about 55,000 square feet, it is designed as a scaled‐down interactive city where children aged roughly 2 to 16 years (more commonly 4-16 for many of the activities) can role-play real-world professions.
Kids can try over 40 to 60+ different activities, from being a doctor, chef, or firefighter, to working in media or banking. They earn KidZos (KidZania’s play currency) through these jobs and use them in tasks or spend them in stores within the mini-city.
It combines educational goals, teamwork, decision-making, and financial literacy with fun, immersive play. It’s open daily, with longer hours on weekends, and has specific ticket types for children, toddlers, and adults.
